At Fundamental Healing, Inc., we believe true wellness begins by addressing the root causes of illness and nurturing the mind, body, and spirit in unison. Founded in 2015 by Gretchen Perry-Emery, our practice has grown through faith, integrity, and community trust. We care for every stage of life—from newborns and home births to older adults—empowering families to experience vibrant health through holistic and functional medicine.

The practice works with insurance to make personalized concierge medicine more affordable. Fundamental Healing, Inc is credentialed with most insurance plans (including Medicare/Medicare Advantage/Medicaid) and assesses a concierge medicine fee to patients- through a parallel company FH Therapeutics.

Operating with 3,000 sq. ft. of clinical space, we’re looking for 1–2 Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to grow alongside the thriving practice.

The practice also offers additional therapies to patients including, HBOT, PEMF, Redlight, Halo Salt Therapy Chamber, Ionic Detox and Trudose- under the direction of Dr Avery Jackson.

FNP Position

We’re looking for a dedicated FNP who is eager to grow both personally and professionally— providing both chronic and preventative care for patients across the lifespan with excellence— while deepening their understanding of holistic and functional medicine.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering well care and identifying root causes of illness—from infants to older adults.
  • Partnering with patients and families to create and achieve both short- and long-term wellness goals.
  • Educating patients about the body, immune system, and healing processes.
  • Prescribing traditional and compounded pharmaceuticals including B12, peptides, Methylene Blue, LDN, Hormones, off-label med use to name a few.
  • Sharing environmental medicine strategies-  able to identify the necessary changes a patient/family should make that will influence health or impede healing.
  • Specialty testing use and interpretation. Including, but not limited to: Mosaic, Alletess, Genova, Diagnostic Solutions, IntellxxDNA, Cyrex, Dutch, IGeneX, RGCC
  • Maintaining detailed and organized patient documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan FNP license (or eligible for certification within 6 months).
  • Malpractice insurance and prescribing authority (collaborative agreement available if needed).
  • Specialty training on testing as well as continuing education credits through MedMAPs (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs), FMU/IFM (Functional Medicine), NAEM (National Association of Environmental Medicine), or a similar Organization.
  • Strong work ethic, detail-oriented mindset, and passion for holistic and functional wellness.
  • Passion for business growth with a mind-set that desires partnership/ownership in the Company

Compensation & Opportunities:

  • Competitive pay based on productivity and experience.
  • Practice buy-in opportunity negotiable after one year of contract employment-1099.
